WHEN | 2017-18     FOR | The Hideout Cafe

The Hideout, a SBM owned cafe, needed a complete brand from scratch. From the name and logo design to the lightbox and coffee cups. I created a logo that was always partially hidden, signage that got lost around corners and off edges, and wording and imagery to suit. The interior design guidance was another aspect of this job that started with a mood board and ended with beautiful, soft fabrics contrasting old wooden floors and shiny copper fittings.

The business card was spot UV gloss on rich black, that was revealed only when the light hit it.
