WHEN | 2018 FOR | Free To Shine
Luna Workshops is a personal project of mine, through my role at Free To Shine I have had the opportunity to create and design this campaign from the ground up. The brand needed to appeal to the curious and creative with a modern, laid-back vibe. I wanted this branding to be malleable, evolving and multi-faceted. To achieve this, we created organic patterns, symbols, an all-embracing colour-scheme and worked with a volunteer copywriter to inject the site copy with energy and positivity. I’ve had the chance so far to work on social media posts, posters, flyers, tickets, an eDM campaign and more. The workshops have started rolling out across Melbourne and the Peninsula this year, with Sydney and the Sunshine Coast/Noosa to join over the next twelve month period. The intention was to creating awareness of Free To Shine, raise money to fund the program in a unique, rewarding way, and teach people new skills.
While this project is still in its early stages, there is much scope for expanding the branding further, pushing the boundaries, and creating off-shoots from the original. It has been an exciting, freeing project to work on.
